Terms and Conditions

Setup needs:
I will need a 4'x4' space to paint. I will arrive about 2 hour early to the event for set up. Please let me know if this is a problem for your venue.

Painting:
This painting may be of multiple people, but will only have 2 detailed faces unless an additional fee is paid. I will take reference pictures and videos of the moment you would like to be painted. These photos/videos will be used for creating the painting and promotional preposes. This painting will be painted live at the event, however depending on the arrangement you choose, this painting will not be completely done at the event. I take it home to finish the details and varnish it with UV protection. It will be mailed to you when it is completed or you can pick it up if you choose.
Payment:
The retainer fee is half of the total. The full retainer fee will be paid in order for your event date to be saved. The above mentioned payment is nonrefundable. Sometimes payments can be made. Contact me for those specific arrangements. All payments must be made on time to retain the date. The remainder of the total cost is due 2 weeks before the wedding.

Cancelations:
If you cancel my services: The remainder of your payment, outside of the retainer fee, is refundable up until the day of your event.
If I am unable to provide my services, due to an act of God circumstance or severe illness, you will have the option to have a non-live portrait painted from a photo, with a $800.00 refund if the total is already paid. If I am unable to provide my services, due to death, all payments will be refunded after estate and insurance settlements. If I am unable to finish studio touchups, due to death, it will be finished by a third party.
Rights to Images:
I reserve the right to display images, video, or reproductions of the painting and the painting process for promotional purposes. I reserve the right to display my reference photos and videos taken at the event for promotional purposes.
All sales of any reproductions or copies of the painting will be sold through me. In the event that you would like copies or reproductions made of this painting, please contact me.
